Days Calculator
Free days counter — count days between any two dates online
Enter a start date and an end date, and you'll see exactly how many days sit between them — along with the same gap in weeks, months and hours. It's the quickest way to settle the questions that come up all the time: how many days until a deadline, how long you've been in a job, or how many nights a holiday really covers once you count both ends.

📆 Calendar
Do you count both the first and last day?
This is where most day-counting disagreements start. Book a hotel from the 10th to the 14th and that's four nights, but you touch five calendar days. When people ask "how many days between", they usually mean the number of full days from one to the other, which is what this tool gives by default.
If you need to include both endpoints — counting a conference that runs Monday to Friday as five days, say — add one to the result. Leap years are handled for you, so a span crossing the 29th of February comes out right without you having to think about it.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How do I count the number of days between two dates? ▼
Enter your start date and end date using the date pickers, then select "Days" as the unit. The calculator instantly shows the exact number of days between the two dates, including or excluding the end date depending on your preference.
Can I count business days (weekdays only)? ▼
Yes — toggle the "Exclude weekends" option to count only Monday–Friday working days between your two dates, which is useful for project timelines and payment terms.
How many weeks between two dates? ▼
Select "Weeks" from the unit selector. The tool divides the total day count by 7 and shows both the whole weeks and any remaining days.
Does the calculator count the start date or end date? ▼
By default the start date is included and the end date is excluded, which is the standard convention for date ranges (e.g. a 7-day week from Monday includes Mon–Sun). You can adjust this with the include/exclude toggles.
Can I calculate dates in the past? ▼
Yes — the start date can be before or after today. If the start date is later than the end date the result will show as a negative number, telling you the end date is actually in the past relative to the start.
